Hello all. I am an MA recipient from the Department of Communication at Northern Illinois University. My graduate study of media focused primarily on long form television, the third golden age of television and adaptation for television. This blog seeks to examine one of the most discussed and acclaimed shows of our time from a viewpoint that is scholarly and critical. My perspective is also one of skepticism in terms of some of the claims made about, and praise directed towards, HBO’s Game of Thrones. I look forward to sharing my interpretation and analysis with you. Welcome to the Nate’s Watch!

  1. I really like your thoughts on Sansa and Tyrion. I agree that he is the most noble Lannister. Frankly, I find his treatment of Sansa to be incredibly endearing and makes me want her to see the good in him. As far as potential husbands go, she kind of won the lottery (even if she does not realize it).
